About Us

Hi, I’m Shannon! I grew up in Fort Ann on my family’s beef farm, where a love for animals and rural life was planted early. My husband, Brendan, grew up in Westchester County but has found his heart and home in the country. Together, we’re raising our two boys to appreciate hard work, compassion for animals, and the simple joys of farm life. Our boys are true farm kids, always eager to help with animals, projects, and whatever else the day brings.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to take over my family’s farm. Since then, so much has changed. Lessons have been learned, memories have been made, and our business has taken shape in ways we never imagined. With each step, we've refined our products, broadened our vision, and welcomed our community into the journey.

It all began with a simple idea: how can we share what we love with others? That question led us to launch Murphy’s Misfit Feirm. It started with goat milk soap spotted in a local shop and has since grown into a full line of handcrafted, farm-fresh products made with care, honesty, and heart.
