About Us

Hi, I’m Shannon.

I grew up in Fort Ann on my family’s beef farm, where a love for animals, hard work, and rural life was shaped early. My husband Brendan grew up in Westchester County but quickly found his place in the country. Together, we’re raising our three boys on the farm, teaching them responsibility, compassion for animals, and an appreciation for a slower, more intentional way of living.

In recent years, I had the opportunity to take over my family’s farm. With that came growth, learning, and a deep desire to share what we were building with others. Murphy’s Misfit Feirm grew naturally from that place, rooted in the belief that simple, thoughtfully made products can bring comfort and connection into everyday life.

What began with a small batch of goat milk soap has grown into a carefully curated collection of farm-poured soy candles, car diffusers, and other handcrafted goods. Every product is made with care, using quality ingredients and inspired by the rhythms of farm life.
